Top 5 News and Magazines Apps in Poland Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five news and magazine applications in Poland showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of these trends.

Breaking News: Local & Alerts from SAFE APPS saw a significant peak in weekly downloads, reaching around 32.9K in early November. This was followed by a gradual decline, closing the quarter at approximately 15.9K weekly downloads. Active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at 143.6K in the same period and ending the year with about 118.8K weekly active users.

NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts from Particle Media Inc. experienced a steady climb in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started modestly at 10 and surged to 5.4K by the end of December. Similarly, active users grew from 16 to over 8.1K during the same period.

Onet – wiadomości, pogoda, spo by Ringier Axel Springer Polska sp. z o.o. maintained a relatively stable performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 1.3K and 3.7K, with active users ranging from 10.5K to 13.8K.

People's Daily saw a notable rise in both downloads and active users starting from early November. Downloads peaked at approximately 4.9K in late November, while active users reached around 2.2K before gradually declining to about 957 by the end of December.

SQUID - News & Magazines had a consistent performance with a stable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 2.8K in the last week of December. Active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 6.4K and 7.9K throughout the quarter.
